Prescriptions Miriam Primary Care Group
WEBPrescription Charges. If you have to pay for more than three prescription items in three months, or 14 items in 12 months, you could save money by buying a Pre Payment Certificate (PPC). From 1 April 2022, the charge for a single prescription item is £9.35, whereas a three-month PPC will cost you £30.25 and a 12 month PPC £108.10.

WEBNew Patients. Registration forms are available from reception. You will also be asked to fill out a simple questionnaire. You will be registering with the practice rather than an individual GP but you are free to see a GP of your choice. Once registered, you will be asked to attend an appointment with the Healthcare Assistant, Practice Nurse or GP.
