WEBEmployment Benefits. What we offer. The City of Olympia offers health benefits to regular full-time and regular part-time employees and their eligible family members. These health benefit plans are also extended to employee’s domestic partners and their eligible children. We do not offer health benefits to temporary or emergency hires.

WEBThe 2021-2026 Water System Plan (WSP) was adopted by the Olympia City Council on November 14, 2023 and approved by the Washington State Department of Health on March 1, 2024. The mission of Olympia’s Water Utility is to provide and protect healthy drinking water for the community.

Backflow is a loss of pressure in the public water system that can draw water on customer property (from within fire sprinkler systems, irrigation systems, hot tubs, etc.) back into the public water system. This water can contain contaminants that would put the public water supply at risk.

Quince Street Village
WEBQuince Street Village is a temporary housing site that helps reduce human suffering and the impacts of unmanaged camping in Downtown Olympia. It includes 100 microhomes that are equipped with electricity and heat, sealed, and outfitted with mold-resistant paint and drywall. Each unit features a bed and a tote to store personal belongings.
