What is a neurological condition
WebNeurological conditions affect the brain, spinal cord, nerves and muscles. They are often the result of illness or injury. There is a very wide range of neurological conditions, and they can affect people in very different ways. Some neurological conditions are present from birth such as cerebral palsy, others develop at a later stage in life
Hand Washing for People with Neurological Conditions
WebIf possible place hand fully in a basin of warm soapy water. Do not force hands / fingers or thumbs open. Use slow, gentle-but-firm handling. Getting into the palm: Start at one side (e.g. at pinkie finger) and use small rotating movements, like a corkscrew, to ease into the palm with soapy water.
