WPCC was one of the first community colleges in the region to provide an Addiction and Recovery Associate in Applied Science degree concentration.
CPR for Basic Life Support
WEBHeartsaver CPR & First Aid. For questions regarding registration for any of the above classes, call (828) 448-6046. CPR for Basic Life Support is an eight hour course that follows the current American Heart Association guidelines for Adult, Child and Infant CPR.

WEBEach year the WPCC Medical Assisting graduates score consistently higher on the certification exam than the national average. The Medical Assisting Program at Western Piedmont Community College has a job placement rate of 80% for the graduate cohort in 2020. Employer and graduate satisfaction rates were 100% for the graduate cohort in 2020.
